This handmade khatam jewelry box features a hand-painted caravan scene, brought to life with fine detailing and warm, earthy tones.
Designed for pens, small keepsakes, or decorative display, this box is both functional and artistic, celebrating cultural storytelling through craftsmanship.
Artistry & Craftsmanship
Each box is created by artisans who specialise in both miniature painting and Khatam marquetry. The caravan scene, figures, camels, movement, landscape, is carefully painted by hand, while the interior and edges feature geometric inlay patterns typical of fine Khatam work.
The combination of smooth hand-painting and precise marquetry creates a refined, collectible piece with depth, character, and history.
