Returns, Withdrawal & Refund Policy
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
In accordance with articles L.221-18 to L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) calendar days from the day you receive the goods, without giving any reason.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, please notify us by an unequivocal statement before the 14-day deadline, by email to info@pilardi.fr, by postal mail to Pilardi, 10 Chaussée de la Muette, 75016 Paris, France, or by using the standard withdrawal form below.
Effects of withdrawal
You must return the goods to us no later than fourteen (14) days from the day you communicate your withdrawal, in original condition, complete, unused, with all accessories (certificate of authenticity, packaging, artisan's signed card).
Return shipping costs: direct return shipping costs are borne by you (typically €20–€40 from Europe, €60–€120 from outside Europe).
Refund: we will reimburse all payments received, including standard delivery costs, no later than fourteen (14) days from the day we are informed of your decision. We will use the same means of payment as the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them, whichever is earliest.
Diminished value
You are liable only for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
Pursuant to article L.221-28, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order or personalised goods. This exclusion will be made clear before any such order.
Damaged or defective items
If your item arrives damaged or non-conforming, please notify us within 5 days of delivery, with photos, at info@pilardi.fr. We will cover return shipping and provide replacement or full refund, without prejudice to your rights under the legal guarantee of conformity (article L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the latent defect guarantee (article 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
