Shipping & Delivery Policy

Processing & dispatch

All orders are prepared in our Paris atelier within 1 to 2 business days of payment confirmation. Each piece is inspected, hand-packed, and accompanied by its documentation before being handed to the carrier.

A shipping confirmation email with your tracking number is sent as soon as your parcel is collected.

Carriers & delivery times

  • Mainland France — Colissimo, delivered in 2 to 3 business days from dispatch.
  • European Union — Colissimo International, delivered in 3 to 6 business days depending on destination.
  • International (outside EU) — FedEx International Priority, delivered in 2 to 5 business days depending on destination.

Delivery times are provided by the carriers as estimates and may vary during peak periods or in the event of customs inspection.

Shipping costs

  • France & European Union: free shipping on orders of €500 and above.
  • International (outside EU): shipping costs calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
  • The exact shipping cost is always displayed before order validation.

Insurance & tracking

Every shipment is fully insured for the total value of the order against loss and damage in transit. A tracking number is sent by email at dispatch, and you can follow your parcel directly on the carrier's website.

Packaging

Each Pilardi piece is hand-packed with protective materials: tissue paper, fragile-specific cushioning, and reinforced boxes. Fragile items (mirrors, trays, marquetry boxes) receive additional protective packaging adapted to long-distance shipping.

Customs & duties (orders outside the EU) — everything included

For all orders shipped outside the European Union, Pilardi covers all customs duties, import taxes, and handling fees on arrival. You will not be asked for any additional payment by the carrier or customs authorities — the amount paid at checkout is the final amount.

This all-duties-and-taxes-included shipping (DDP — Delivered Duty Paid) applies to every international destination.

Damaged, lost, or non-conforming parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged or a piece is found to be defective on arrival, please notify us within 5 days of delivery, with photographs of the parcel and the piece, at info@pilardi.fr.

In accordance with our Refund Policy, we cover return shipping and provide a replacement or full refund.

In the event of a parcel lost in transit, we open an investigation with the carrier as soon as you notify us and proceed with replacement or refund once the loss is confirmed.
